Skulls of the Shogun – Bigger, Better, Bonier

Welcome to the wider world

Skulls of the Shogun is one exclusive you’ve probably never heard of. The reason for that is of course that it’s a Windows 8 exclusive. Yea, those exist, and they do about as well as you’d imagine, just ask all your friends who use Windows 8. Yea, didn’t think so. The worst part about all this is the fact that Skulls of the Shogun is apparently a really good game, according to pretty much everyone who went through the hassle that is Windows 8 to actually review it.

Well, it looks there’s hope yet, as developer 17-BIT has just announced a brand new version of the game is headed for Steam, and therefore versions of Windows that people actually use. The Bone-A-Fide Edition is set to release in late July for $15, but if you’d like to save a few bucks, preorders are now available at $12 a pop over on Steam and the Humble store. The new Bone-A-Fide edition is more than just a escaped convict in game form however, and will include a brand new four-chapter episode that takes place after the original’s ending, as well as a host of new additions to the multiplayer. You can get the whole scoop over on their website, along with the full list of new stuff.
